Sammy - Age 3

This was an especially fun birthday for this boy. I was singing "Happy Birthday" all day long. Sammy wasn't quite sure what was going on at first. He was wishing me a "happy birthday" in return. By the end of the day, he could see that there was something special about this day - and he liked it... a lot.

Danny

I digitized some photographs that Danny's mom gave me. I love seeing pictures of Danny as a boy. He was so cute!

This is Danny's eighth grade picture. I surrounded this picture with stars in my own yearbook.

I love the smirk

Oooh, I could just bite those cheeks! This picture reminds me of my James.

I know that the "shadow effect" is cheezy, but how can you not love that sweet expression in the background? Those school photographers had skills!

Mother

She loves my dad and will eagerly tell the story of their engagement

and caring

and can let it go if it isn't

This boy...

...is growing up. He got the milk out of the refrigerator by himself, walked over to the cupboard where we keep the cups, and tried to fix himself a drink.

This boy loves Superman. He asks his dad to fly him up and down the stairs, and often runs around in circles with arms stretched out saying "I flying"! He also has the Superman theme song down, even though he has never seen the movie.

Sam's moods cannot easily be redirected. He wants to be treated with respect, and knows when he's being patronized.

Sam's favorites: Justin Bieber's song "Baby", Superman, chocolate (pronounced chochlip), Little Einsteins, Primary song "Follow The Prophet", riding on Isaac's back, and playing undisturbed by his brothers.

It Snowed!

My sister-in-law, Melissa, inspired me to try something new. After reading her blog I attempted to make my own snowflakes - and here they are. It took a few failed attempts, but I got it! Fun.
