What were your mother's best traits? Which ones do you share?
My mother readily forgives
She loves the beauty of the earth
Her heart is thankful
She is devoted to her Father in Heaven
My mother gives good advice and has good ideas
She believes in prayer
She loves my dad and will eagerly tell the story of their engagement
She loves her babies
She tries, and tries, and tries again
My mom is available
and caring
and funny
and creative
She can easily determine whether something is important
and can let it go if it isn't
My mother has a vision for her family
She is wonderful

i love this. i whole heartedly agree with all that you said and hope to share each one of these amazing qualities with mom. one that really stuck out to me is "available" . . . so true, and so rare for many women to have this quality.

Your mother is amazing, and we were all so lucky growing up to have her influence in our lives in YW. I feel the same way about my mom. I appreciate her more each day that I am a mother.
