The Nydegger's braved the cold weather last Friday, and enjoyed a campfire at the Point. The Point is a few blocks away from our home. It banks Lake Michigan, and hosts lovely views of the Chicago cityscape. The boys had a great time. I feasted on a hotdog that was hot on the outside - cold on the in. Because my 'smore didn't turn out the way I had hoped, I have been roasting marshmallows over the gas flame on my stove at home for a couple of days now. Tis' the season to get chubby!

mmmmmmm....marshmallows, sounds good. I've just finished all my fun size Halloween candy, and I've been looking for a yummy replacement :)
a far different campfire from our desert ones long ago. Remember Ed's "statue of liberty?"
The statue of liberty is a legend. Who could forget?
When I was pregnant I made chad take me to the cabin at least every other week so that I could have roasted marshmellows! I don't know what it is, but they are just so scrumptious!
love seeing those boys! xox
Katie, you look so cute. I love that smile. Miss you.
You all look toasty warm. We loved spending Thanksgiving with you family. Wish we could see you more often.
