We had our friend, Bea, over for her birthday last night.
I don't know what happens inside my children's brains when we have guests - but as soon as she walked in the door they went berzerk. It's kind of embarrassing actually. Isaac was jumping on the couch (which he knows he's not allowed to do), James was running in circles, which I guess isn't all that unusual, and Eli was manufacturing his own brand of racket. Luckily, Sam slept through the whole thing. Danny wasn't able to make it until later on in the meal - so trying to manage my rowdy bunch while enjoying my company was nearly impossible. I kept thinking to myself "relax", but found myself shooting dagger-eyes at my boys (and being responded to with smirks). All in all, I would definitely to it again.

katie, the party sounds fun and the boys were sure to enjoy the occasion. it's fun to finally see a photo of bea, and glimpse your fun/exasperating evening. :)
Happy Birthday! It's fun to see her face, having heard such great things about Grandma Bea.

It's probably because your kids know how cute they are, so they know they can get away with anything. :)

Your boys are so darling. I can't believe you are the mommy of 4 BOYS! I am sure you are wonderful. As I expect my second boy in the next two weeks, I will need advice, as my one keeps me running in circles!
